1. Peserta lomba adalah penulis yang telah terdaftar di Harian Online KabarIndonesia (HOKI). Bagi Anda yang belum terdaftar, silahkan mendaftarkan diri sebagai penulis di http://www.kabarindonesia.com// dengan meng-klik "Daftar Jadi Penulis" dan mengisi formulir yang disediakan. Kemudian, setelah mengaktifkan account melalui sebuah link yang terkirim melalui email,  log-in kembali.  Anda dapat langsung menulis dan mengirimkan hasil karya Anda untuk ditayangkan di KabarIndonesia; 
 
2. Pengiriman tulisan hanya dengan satu cara, yakni melalui website http://www.kabarindonesia.com// Tidak melayani pengiriman tulisan melalui media lain, seperti surat-menyurat atau melalui email; 
 
3. Lomba dibuka untuk semua orang tanpa pengecualian agama, jenis kelamin, status sosial, latar belakang pendidikan, domisili, dan lain-lain dengan usia minimum 17 tahun ke atas; 
 
4. Lomba dimulai dari tanggal 10 Juni 2010 dan ditutup pada tanggal 15 Juli 2010, pukul 24.00 WIB; 
 
5. Tulisan akan dinilai oleh para dewan juri;  
 
6. Pengumuman pemenang akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 31 Juli 2010;  
 
7. Keputusan dewan juri tidak dapat diganggu gugat. 
 
 
B. Ketentuan Khusus (Tulisan) 
 
1. Tulisan asli bukan jiplakan, saduran atau terjemahan; 
 
2. Panjang tulisan tidak dibatasi; 
 
3. Setiap peserta hanya diperkenankan mengirimkan satu tulisan saja;
 
4. Tulisan harus mengikuti kaidah penulisan menggunakan ejaan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar (Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan); 
 
5. Tulisan dikirimkan melalui website KabarIndonesia pada rubrik "Olah Raga";   
 
6. Tiap tulisan yang dikirim sebagai lomba tulis dicantumkan "LOMBA TULIS" sebagai awal dari artikel;  
 
7. Hak cipta tulisan tetap pada penulis, tetapi hak publikasi/hak pakai ada pada Harian Online KabarIndonesia (HOKI), terhitung sejak tanggal 10 Juni 2010.
